Vanity and Eating Binge

Mckayla loves dressing up. She gets all excited when she gets to wear a dress or skirt. She shows her happines by dancing and twirling, and watching her skirt fly. She also loves checking herself out in the mirror. This morning, while I was pumping, she came in the room to say hi. I complimented on her cute outfit (she does not get to wear dresses/skirts to school). She smiles and jumps off me, then turns around to look at herself in the mirror. Then, she starts kissing herself in the mirror. I asked what she was doing, she said, “I am so pretty!”.
Marcus has been eating so much recently. I think he knows he’s six month check up is tomorrow and is trying to make sure he packs in more weight. Last night, he had green peas at dinner time with us. He was eating so fast and I had a hard time keeping up. I couldn’t eat between his bites and had to concentrate on feeding him. He was banging the table asking for more food whenever I slow down to take a bite myself. When the bowl was empty, he was still hungry. He continued to bang the table and smacking his lips. I made a another bowl of rice cereal for him and he polished off the entire bowl within minutes. But that still wasn’t enough for him. Ted fed him milk instead so I could eat dinner myself. He quickly finished the 4 oz bottle and was finally satisified. Half an hour later, he was due for bedtime. We weren’t sure if he was going to eat again since he ate so much at dinner. To my surprise, he finished the entire 6 oz bottle and didn’t even leave a drop.
