Marcus hasn’t spent anytime on the floor since Mckayla got sick last Sunday. Since our laundry room is also under construction, we haven’t been able to do laundry for the last few days. I didn’t want to let Marcus play on his floor mat until everything has been washed, so he’s been spending his tummy time on the big bed in his room. Couple nights ago, while we were hanging out in his room before his bedtime, he was rolling around on the bed. I had to pick him up several times and reposition him to prevent him from falling off the bed. Then, he stopped rolling all the sudden. I watched as he was struggling to push through his arm and lifting his buttock up in the air into a crawling position. The bed was too soft and he wasn’t able to support his weight. Then, he looked up and did a head plant into the bed, pushed down with his elbow and sort of moved forward a bit. Hopefully, we’ll get the laundry room back by Monday, so we can let him practice more on the floor. Mckayla has been put to work since she loves to “help” like a big girl. I gave her disinfecting wipes and told her to start wiping down her toys that we can’t clean with water. She did a considerably decent job wiping.
