We went back to our house on Saturday while few friends and their babies came over for BBQ and swim in the pool on the hot sunny day. At first, Mckayla didn’t like the water - it was a bit too cold even for me. After I hung out in the sun for a while, she got really warm and Ted took her back in the water again. This time, she had lots of fun, kicking and splashing water in the pool. Ted even dunked her couple times in the pool. After spending time in the water and sun, Mckayla took a nice long nap while we ate and chatted with friends. Since we didn’t bring the montior with us, I went to her room to check on her periodically. Two hours later, when I peeked my head in her room, I got a nice greeting from Mckayla. She was standing while holding the railings and smiling at me. She pulled herself up to stand!
